The BPID has an equal and responsible 16 non-governmental organizations, each with its mission and specific objectives

Alliance for Regional and Civil Initiatives

 The alliance was founded in 2006. Their mission is to support the development of civil society in Bulgaria by promoting the participation of people from all social groups in public affairs and the management of the country in order to improve the social and economic situation and quality of life of Bulgarian citizens.

BlueLink - Civil Action Network

BlueLink was founded in 1999. Their mission is to develop the capacity of a progressive civil society and to support democracy, environmentally friendly sustainable development and the implementation of the values of a united Europe. They achieve their goals by promoting strategic internet use, public benefit journalism, research and advocacy for the policies that shape them.

Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health Association (BFPA)

BFPA was established in 1992. Their mission is to provide family planning and reproductive health services, to work in the field of health prevention and health and sexuality education, to advocate for improving vulnerable communities' access to health, education and social services.

Bulgarian Red Cross

The Bulgarian Red Cross began its work in the country in 1878. Its mission is to support vulnerable people in disaster and crisis situations, relying on the principles of neutrality, humanity, impartiality, independence, voluntariness, unity and universality.

Gender Project in Bulgaria - Center for Sustainable Communities Development

The Center for Sustainable Community Development was established in 1994 under the name "Gender Project Foundation in Bulgaria". Its mission is to challenge gender inequality and contribute to the empowerment of women and girls. It focuses on policies and laws concerning gender equality nationally and globally, as well as international development cooperation.

Global Initiative in Psychiatry - Sofia

The organisation was established in 2002. Its mission is to promote humane, ethical and effective mental health care. It also cares to prevent or end abuse and violence to the mental health of any person.

Society for the United Nations in Bulgaria

Established in January 1948 to support Bulgaria's accession to the UN, the Society is one of the oldest NGOs in the country. Its mission is to work to unite Bulgarian society in support of the UN and to recognize the values, principles and work of the Organization in Bulgaria.

Caritas Bulgaria

„Caritas Bulgaria was founded in 1993. As a structure of the Catholic Church, its mission focuses on people on the "margins of the world" who live in poverty and suffering and who need care and support so that they can live with dignity.

National Network for Children

The organisation was established in 2003. Its mission is to advocate for the rights and well-being of children by uniting and developing a broad, socially relevant network of organizations and supporters.

S.E.G.A. Foundation

The S.E.G.A. Foundation - Start for Effective Civic Alternatives was established in 1995. Its mission focuses on capacity building at different levels, changing attitudes and improving policies for social inclusion of disadvantaged communities.

Gender Education, Research and Technology Foundation - DOIT

The DOIT Foundation was founded in 2004. Its mission includes the implementation of activities aimed at achieving gender equality, social justice and equity in all spheres of life, including access to new technologies and their benefits.

ADRA Bulgaria Foundation

"ADRA Bulgaria was established in 1992. It is part of a global Adventist development and relief charity. Her mission is to bring more justice, love and compassion to the world.

"SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria"

The Association was founded in 1990. Its mission is to provide direct care for children at risk by providing a family and a healthy environment for the development and growth of children deprived of parental care or at risk of losing the protection of their parents.

Global Libraries Foundation - Bulgaria

"Global Libraries Bulgaria was established in 2013. Its mission is to support the inclusion of Bulgarian citizens in the global information society, to improve their quality of life and to promote civic participation.

Association for Shared Learning – ELA

 The association was founded in 2007. Its mission is to support the development of children and young people in their learning and searching for their own way, as well as with schools, parents and teachers who consciously support children in building their social and emotional skills.

Economic Policy Institute

The institute was founded in 1997. Their mission is to contribute to the development of the potential of the Bulgarian economy by increasing its competitiveness and improving the efficiency of public institutions.
